Improved understanding of Autism Spectrum

One of the projects that members of the International Association are working on is better understanding of “how people are doing challenges on the Autism Spectrum” and how family members can help them improve their experiences.

Since publishing “Bridges to Success – How to Transform Learning Difficulties” where there were some useful tips for all learning difficulties, a group of Empowering Learning Level 2 Practitioners have been pooling their experiences to help each other and their clients move the whole concept forward.  The premise is that these people have exceptional skills to bring to the world and a very different way of learning. The downside of a different way of learning is that coping with life let alone a normal school day can be frightening, confusing and full of many other emotions.

If you have a family member on the spectrum from ADHD, Aspergers, Tourettes and Autism your knowledge may be very valuable to this work.  Do contact
