Relationship with Empowering Learning, Empowering Health and other modalities

The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for all Empowering Learning and Empowering Health Products and services has been being passed over to the International Association for Health and Learning (IAHL) over the last year and as such, all newsletter emails will now come from the IAHL. These will include specific news, special offers, announcements etc for all those previously signed up to Empowering Learning, Empowering Health and and a summary of these activities, plus those of other modalities, that have all  contributed. I would also encourage you to watch the web-site and Facebook page for recent developments.

For those trained to be Empowering Learning Practitioners there is a separate monthly newsletter and Facebook Page

Visitor behaviour

We use a third-party services called Google analytics and Statcounter, which collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is processed in such a way that visitors remain totally anonymous. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Mailing lists

As part of the registration process for our webinars and e-newsletters, we collect personal information.

We use that information for a couple of reasons:
• to add you to our regular e-newsletter.
• to tell you about additional services you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider Infusionsoft, to deliver our newsletter. We store a minimum of your data, namely your email address, electronically, through the Infusionsoft CRM package. This information is used to send you our newsletters. For physical purchases we also store your address and postcode.  All purchases are carried out via Paypal, who have their own GDPR policy.Infusionsoft gathers statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletters.

Every newsletter contains a link to cancel or amend the details of your subscription.  Upon receipt of an unsubscribe request,  your email address and name is automatically blocked on Infusionsoft and later deleted manually.

When you register for any information from the International Association, we are in the process of updating all transactions to confirm your details before registering you, to offer you further protection.
